It all starts with a conversation
All Lupa Coaching starts with a free, confidential conversation.
This gives you the opportunity to talk about what’s going on in your world and why you are considering working with a coach.
As in all good conversations, it’s a two way communication – we will both ask questions and you can start to work out if you think Lupa feels right for you.
There will be no pressure to continue beyond this conversation if you don’t want to take it further.

I aim to respond within one working day, but please bear with me if it takes a wee bit longer – I’m human and sometimes there are other life things happening.
FAQs
What happens in a coaching session?
At Lupa each one to one coaching session is bespoke, and responds to whatever you bring to the session on that day. The session will start with finding out what you want to focus on, and how Lupa can help you. During the session there might be gentle, or challenging, questions; there could also be some more creative tools to help you see things from a different perspective, or to dig more deeply within yourself. The session will end with time to reflect on progress and any learning, and looking at steps to move forward.
Some of the most important work is done between sessions, as you reflect on what you have learned, or you put new ideas into practice. Some clients like to have ‘homework’ between coaching sessions too, to help embed ideas.
How much time do I need to commit to this?
Lupa Coaching sessions are usually 60 – 90 minutes and take place every 2 or 3 weeks, or at a pace and time that works best for you. Depending on your needs and what has brought you to coaching, we will work together for a number of sessions – typically it will start with five or six. It’s also possible to hire Lupa on retainer, where a number of hours can be used flexibly over a longer period of time, including check-ins between formal coaching sessions.
Where does the coaching take place?
Lupa Coaching generally takes place online, unless specific arrangements are made to meet face to face. Lupa‘s base is in Galloway, South West Scotland and although travel is entirely possible for face to face meetings, the logistics can be complex. Our preferred platform is Google Meet.
What does it cost?
Fees vary depending on whether you are coming to Lupa as an individual or through an organisation. Other factors, including type and length of engagement also impact the fee. I am happy to discuss fees if you get in touch.
At Lupa, I know my worth. But I also want coaching to be accessible to anyone who needs it, without funds being a barrier. I will be offering some pro bono coaching each year. I can only provide this thanks to my clients who continue to work with Lupa.
